This week I had the most absolutely awesome opportunity to go observe my mentor at work. At Ultimate Ventures. It was definitely an interesting morning before going. Getting gas before I went on my way. I was so lucky and clumsy enough to spill gas all over my hands. Though after attempting to wash it all off. The smell was still very much in tact. So that was just grand. All I could think about was meeting everyone in her office and everyone thinking "why does this teenager smell like gas."
Though I got there and everyone was very sweet, very welcoming, and they were all very excited to meet me.
UV has a very relaxed work environment, which I LOVE. As much as I love a crazy and fast paced atmosphere, I seemed to REALLY love the UV environment. It's definitely somewhere I could see myself working. (Not EXACTLY at Ultimate ventures but something similar).
Sam gave me a mini tour of the entire office and I loved it. Also nobody seemed to notice my smelly gas hands thankfully.
