Week 15

This week started off with an awesome snow blizzard, so not much has occurred so far this week.
I have started my final product, it is starting off very slowly. The most important part of this party is the vendors. I don't have the approved vendor list for FISD yet. So once I have that I will get this party going faster.
I am quite behind on a few assignments right now that I all need to complete by Friday, So that will be a challenge and interesting to complete. I know I can finish it, it will not be to difficult.
I have met with Sam about primary learning, she walked me through a 4 day event that she planned and put together. We also discussed me possibly being able to do some hands on work with her in getting to see more of her job and what she does. She has to run it by her boss and discuss with her, but I'm really excited for what I might be able to do with her and ultimate ventures.

Week 14

This week was the start of my final product. I wrote my proposal, got all the details together, and started planning. I met with the lady in the office that handles the budgets, and she gave me and approximate number of what I have to spend. I started planning, but in order to do most of it, I need to plan vendors. I have a location, a date, and almost a theme. I plan on asking my class what they want to see in this event as far as theme, time, and other materialistic items. This is about the students so I want their opinion. That is the most important thing.
I met with Sam to help start planning, but she said we can't do much until we know about our vendors. That is the most important part right now. I think we have to use FISD vendors because we are using the FISD budget. I will have to check with Mrs. Secord and see how that will work. I also need to establish a theme to help plan food.
I have a speech on friday that I am somewhat prepared for. I still have to create a new power point because unfortunately I lost mine in my computer and it has been removed from my jump drive. Though I think I am ready for my speech. My last one wasn't too good so hopefully I can make a comeback with this one.

Week 14

This week, I finished, completed, and turned in my original work. I put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into all of it. It was a stressful week, but I got it all done. I even got the chance to send it to my awesome mentor, Sam and she looked over it and gave me some pointers for me to fix. I got it all done and turned in thankfully. It was stressful but worth it.
This week, I plan on starting my Final product work. For my final product I will be planning a ISM banquet. I just met with Mrs. Secord and a few ladies in the office to help me start getting a date, and a budget worked out. I need to start my planning process and talk to my mentor about getting some details worked out, in order to start planning.
Today, officially starts the planning process for my end of the year banquet. I am so excited to plan this out and test my planning skills.
